CHARTER DAY
March 14th 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - FREE
Visit an 18th century tavern. Meet the tavern keeper and his patrons who will invite you to play tavern games of the time period. Visit the Blacksmith Shop and learn about the importance of this trade in the local community.
CHILDREN’S DAY
May 8th 10:00 am - 4:00 pm - ADMISSION CHARGED
Bring the family to the Park for the day and participate in various demonstrations and hands-on activities. See an operating Blacksmith Shop and try your hand at 18th century chores and crafts.

~ 1 p.m. - General Marquis de Lafayette, (portrayed by Loic Barnieu)
He was the heir to one of the largest fortunes in France! Lafayette had to come to the United States, from Spain, because he was acting against the King’s will & could have been arrested. Unlike many of his fellow countrymen who came to the United States to party, Lafayette took the cause of freedom to heart. Barnieu's portrayal, shows his passion for this French aristocrat who risked his fortune & his life to fight in the War. Stop in and enjoy a 1st person audience with The Marquis de Lafayette!

Meet the Author & learn in depth about Lafayette's return to America, through Hoffman's Unabridged English Translation. Books available for sale in the Museum Shop to have signed by the author.
